Ingredients

Scale

For the Casserole:

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 small onion, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 cup frozen mixed vegetables (carrots, peas, and corn)
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese (divided)
  • 1 bag (32 oz) frozen tater tots
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • ½ teaspoon paprika

Instructions

  1. Preheat the Oven:
    • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Lightly grease a 9×13-inch casserole dish.
  2. Cook the Ground Beef:
    • Heat a large skillet over medium heat. Add the ground beef and cook until browned, breaking it into crumbles as it cooks.
    • Stir in the diced onion and minced garlic, cooking for 2-3 minutes until softened.
    • Add Worcestershire sauce, salt, black pepper, and paprika. Stir well and remove from heat.
  3. Assemble the Casserole:
    • Spread the cooked ground beef mixture evenly in the bottom of the casserole dish.
    • Layer the frozen mixed vegetables on top of the beef.
    • Spread the cream of mushroom soup evenly over the vegetables.
    • Sprinkle 1 cup of shredded cheese over the soup layer.
    • Arrange the frozen tater tots in a single layer on top.
  4. Bake:
    • Bake the casserole in the preheated oven for 35-40 minutes, or until the tater tots are golden brown and crispy.
    • Remove from the oven and sprinkle the remaining 1 cup of shredded cheese over the top.
    • Bake for an additional 5 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  5. Serve:
    • Let the casserole cool slightly before serving. Scoop into bowls and enjoy!
