Instructions
- Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add ground beef and cook, breaking it up with a spoon, until browned and cooked through. Remove the beef with a slotted spoon and set aside.
- Add butter to the skillet. Sauté the onion, garlic, and mushrooms for 5-7 minutes until the mushrooms are golden and onions are translucent.
- Sprinkle flour over the veggies and stir to coat. Cook for 1 minute, then slowly pour in the beef broth, stirring constantly to prevent lumps.
- Add Worcestershire sauce, paprika, salt, and pepper. Simmer for 3-5 minutes, allowing the sauce to thicken.
- Return the ground beef to the skillet and stir to combine. Reduce heat to low and gently stir in the sour cream until the sauce is smooth and creamy.
- Serve the stroganoff over cooked egg noodles and garnish with parsley if desired.
