Instructions

 

  1. Prep the Meatballs: In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, egg, breadcrumbs, onion soup mix, garlic powder, Worcestershire sauce, and milk. Mix gently until just combined.
  2. Shape and Brown (Optional): Roll into 1-inch meatballs. If desired, lightly brown them in a skillet over medium heat or bake at 400°F for 10 minutes.
  3. Make the Sauce: In a separate bowl, whisk together the cream of mushroom soup, ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, beef broth, and brown sugar until smooth.
  4. Assemble in Crockpot: Pour a small amount of sauce into the bottom of the slow cooker. Add the meatballs in layers, then pour the remaining sauce over them.
  5. Cook: Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or on high for 3-4 hours, stirring gently halfway through.
